    Too Much Overtime

    Work has been a bit overwhelming lately. I've been going in early, staying late, and working weekends too :sleep: I feel like a zombie.

    I have to go for my 6mo diabetes check-up tomorrow morning which means a 12hr fast with only water to drink. Everything should go smoothly.

    Happy Anniversary

    14-July is the 8 year anniversay for David and I. I was working 45 minutes on a photo to commemorate it, only to have Photoshop crash and loose all the work. I put together something else, not quite as much work went in to it, but I like it. I hope you do to.

    I still feel a bit like a newbie...the links are giving me problems, but I'll figure them out. The color and layout is becoming second nature.

    New CSS for 4th of July

      Up until now, I have just edited the colors in my journal.   I decided it was time I learned a little more about CSS.   To that end, I downloaded the following...
        Simple + Clean v1.2 CSS Layout by :iconclairejones: --and-- CSS for Beginners by :icons-que:

      I also got help from the following websites:
        december.com - Hex numbers for colors
        w3schools.com - In depth CSS discussion
        icyworlds.net - DA Specific help

      I really wanted to go through and make my own, so using the downloaded material like a Rosetta Stone, I found the elements I needed.   I may try to use a photo in the future, but I wanted to keep in simple first time out.

      I spent the better part of 3 hours and it still has some bugs.   The weblink styles have gotten the best of me for now.   Please let me know if you see anything else.

      At least it has taken my mind off work!   It was suggested that it might be better if I cancel my scheduled vacation days for July 7th and 8th, and come in to work.   I realize the work load is high right now and everything is extremely hot.   It only seems like nothing is getting done because I'm having to spread myself thinner over more accounts.   So, since I've had the days approved for over a month, I plan on taking them. :D
